Why wonder?
There’s a group’s friendster account, and a member wonders who’s behind that account, that he spent an effort to put one.
My parents watching the magical fountain show here in Singapore didn’t marvel on how magnificently in sync the lights, water, sound and fire were – rather their inquisitive mind focused on how the team behind it does that.
My friend and I sitting on a ferry going to manila is in awe watching the movements of the wave and how the law of physics perfectly fits in to such a common sight.
There are those people who can’t help but look on things from a different perspective. That makes them a bit different from the mainstream, who are so engulf with the commonality of things around us that they doesn’t care anymore the whys and hows of the universe. This makes those common things a bit special – that in fact, its not that common at all, it’s complexity is far beyond what our superficial observation can comprehend.
Life is like that. At one glance, it is nothing but a cycle of birth and death. All was born naked, and so will leave this world empty handed. In between, there might be problems and encouragement. But all the same, life will puff off like a vapor.
We do live a borrowed life. It’s not ours. And what will matter in the end is not how we lived on this earth, rather on where will we spend eternity (i can hear you saying, "oh, there you are again!" hehehe) But eternity is real. Where will we wake up after we die, certainly matters. There’s no bridge between heaven and hell, this two eternal places are eternally separated. Cetainly, there’s no crossing in the after life.
Why i am here? Why i have life? Why do I breathe? Why I have 70 years to live if it was meant for nothing? Why I have a wonderful and so complex body system if it was meant to be destroyed after all?
The Bible is certain that ALL men (yes, including me) have sinned. The Bible is also certain that because sin can only be paid by death (because God is so holy), all men are therefore forever condemned in hell. No amount of good works can ever undone the wrong we’ve done. Deep within, we are rotten by sin. Oh how hard it is to accept the fact that we don’t have the capacity to do good. We do still cheat, we do still lie. We do still kill people thru character assassination.
But the same Bible who never lie, told us that God’s only Son died for our stead. Yes, the death penalty requirement has been satisfied at the Cross. We only have to believe. You may ask, is that it? Yes, Man have only to acknowledge the sacrifice of Jesus and he can enter heaven for eternity.
Others find it to simple and easy. But am telling you, unless God would enable you to believe, you won’t believe. If by chance you find yourself believing, that’s because you’re convicted of Sin and God worked in you.
Life is indeed too short. Where will you spend eternity? I’ve made my choice; I hope you’ll make yours. E-mail me: rteja79@yahoo.com
bible and miracle
The Bible is His Word, employing humans as writers. You said why he didn’t just put the message right across the sky? The red sea has been parted and 7 plagues attacked Egypt. Yet none believed.
No miracle can easily convince an unbelieving heart.

godly suffering
An unbeliever may contest why God did not intervene on the suffering of His people. The Bible has its own lists too, of godly people who suffered and even died crying to God. Jesus himself wasn’t exempted. I’m sure you know what transpire at the cross.
Why? Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon, Job, almost all heroes of faith suffered. What i have seen is only a speck of what God hold to answer you, whenever you will question Him on the appointed time. One thing is evident why He permitted it. He has a plan. Why He permit this, why he doesn’t permit that. I would say so that it will all end to agree on His established Master plan.
To be a christian is to suffer. We have Christ’s Word on it. The Apostles and early disciples were dragged naked til they breath their last. others crucified, placed in a boiling oil to death, struck with arrows or stones til they died. Yes, they cease to breath the air we breath, but they are awaken into the newness far from what we can comprehend.
They are awaken in glory. There they’ll see that this world is not their home. Christians are mere sojourners here on earth.
When they suffered, they became like gold. purified thru the pounding and extreme heat. God is making them pure.

God and gods
God is jealous not because there exist other gods, but because there is none, yet man is still trying to create one for himself.

faith and an atheist
The point is, you only believe on the things you want to believe. You choose the things to believe. For anything that goes against your belief, to you, is absurdity.
The believers on the other way rest on what you called "man-made-book" to them, it is God’s Word. Divine. Perfect.
They believe on things they can’t see. Only hearing through the heart, and seeing through the soul. Allowing themselves to be lead by an unseen hands that they can’t even hold and touching things on the way they can’t feel, that’s what they called Faith.
The difference? You, sets the standard – - – them? sits on the standard.
When will faith cease?
To the christians: when the unseen is revealed, and mysteries unfold… faith will cease.
To the unbeliever: when things won’t go their way anymore.

man’s need of Christ
Man needs Christ, Christianity is for the unsaved. Man will survive without Christ, but only for a moment for it has an end. God created not the christians alone, in fact, He created everything. Christ needed by all men, it may appear that He isn’t, but He is. There is only a single Vine, for there is only a Single Christ. No religion can claim exclusivity of the Kingdom for it is God’s, and God’s alone. Man was not created to be thrown way, instead he choose to throw God first, out of his life of emptiness and hopelessness.

3 forces in the affairs of man
I believe there are three forces affecting the affairs of men. *tama ba?*
God, who is in control- permissively allowing things to happen that it may work well according to His perfect Masterplan.
Satan, the deceiver- who’s desire is nothing but to ruin God’s creation and simply to be an accuser of mankind. He moves only in the bounds of God’s permission. And,
Man- doing things in his own will, making him accountable and responsible on whatever decision he have to take, yet still, bounded under God’s permissive will.
I said, believers will only have to stop believing when all that is hidden is revealed. Anyway the Bible says that "..FAITH is a substance of the things we hope for, the evidence of the things not seen"
